20th National Congress of Nephrology Hypertension Dialysis and Transplantation"

INVITATION

Dear Colleagues,

The 20th National Congress of Nephrology, Hypertension, Dialysis and Transplantation of the Turkish Society of Nephrology (TSN) will be held in Antalya at the Atlantis Congress Center on 13-16 September 2003.

This year, the Congress will be organized by TSN itself without local participation and I am confident that both the scientific and social programs will maintain their usual high standards.

The two day "6th European Basic Multidisciplinary Hemodialysis Access Course" to be jointly organized by the Vascular Access Society (VAS) & the TSN and a one day Pre-Congress "Hypertension Course" will be integrated to the Congress Program. Moreover, during this Congress,one of the regular "Nephrology Forums" of the Journal "Kidney International" will be organized for the first time in Turkey. This forum will focus on "Familial Mediterranean Fever" and will be published thereafter in Kidney International.

Along with many prominent Turkish scientists, the participation to this Congress also of numerous distinguished foreign scientists is already ensured thanks to VAS, ISN- COMGAN, ERA, ISPD and other sponsorships.

I would like to thank my colleagues in the Organization Committee and especially professor Cengiz Utas, the Congress Secretary for their ongoing pursuit of the best on both the scientific and social dimensions of this Congress.
