XI. International Conference On Behçet''s Disease

INVITATION

Dear Colleagues,

The preparations for the XI. International Conference on Behçet's Disease (October 27 - 31 2004, Antalya - Turkey) are well underway. During the conference we aim to leave as much time as possible for presentation, discussion and planning of original work. We hope to achieve this by scheduling expert guided tours of selected posters and study group sessions in addition to the usual oral presentations. Please note that the qualifying abstracts, as well as the extended abstracts of the Keynote Lectures, will be published in the traditional annual supplement of Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology devoted to Behçet's Disease and FMF. Clinical and Experimental Rheumatology is a fully peer reviewed journal listed in all major international sources of scientific publication such as Index Medicus and PubMed.

As organizers we are also paying special attention to the successful planning of the III. Patient Conference on Silk Road Disease (Behçet's disease). A dynamic patient - physician dialogue is the goal and we envisage that both the unique conference venue and, more importantly, the experience derived from the previous two patient conferences will help us to achieve this during the forthcoming conference.
