45th International Symposium of Essential Oils (ISEO 2014)

Dear friends, esteemed colleagues, ladies and gentlemen,

We have come to the end of the 45th International Symposium on Essential Oils.

The symposium has achieved its goals by bringing together researchers from all over the World to present their results and to discuss current issues related to essential oils and aroma chemicals. The symposium has attracted 224 participants from 46 countries, I am indebted to them all for their participation and contributions.

I would like to propose a vote of thanks to several people.

First of all, I am indebted to the members of the ISEO Permanent Committee, the Organizing and Scientific Committees for their commendable work. My thanks are also due to the plenary lecturers and presenters of short lectures and posters.

My special thanks go to the chair persons, the sponsors and the supporting institution ICMAP, technicians and support staff.

I would like to thank BILKON Tourism Company for the immense support, devotion and enthusiasm of its staff whose efforts have enabled us to offer you an enjoyable symposium. I invite them on stage to show our appreciation with a loud applause.

Finally, I wish all the best to those who stay in Turkey for other activities. I hope you leave Turkey with good memories and wish you all a happy and safe journey home and hope to meet you again at another occasion. Thank you.
