21st TDA International Dental Congress

INVITATION

Dear Colleagues,

As tooth decay and periodontal diseases are effecting morbidity more than mortality, it is inevitable for our government to ignore the improvements in oral health politics which interferes society’s oral health.

It has been noticed that public health service mostly covers operational and restorative treatments for the adult patients (%96) whereas preventive dentistry based services maintained for children only sharing the %4 of the total expenditure. This situation is far from securing the next generation's oral health and contributing positively on the public health. For years, TDA has been requesting to generate a service model based on 'academýc based preventive dentistry oral health politics'. Dental clinics should be the focus of this service model.

Like supporting various academic activities, Turkish Dental Association also performs a very important service at the international congresses with colleagues embracing post graduation academic and technology world every year.

Here, we will carry out a new one, 21st International Dental Congress in Istanbul. Let's live Istanbul in Istanbul.

Let's take a breath all together, with you in Istanbul... To the new horizons...

There are dazzling academic and technological developments happening in our profession. Our invitation is to see where the science and technology reached, to update our knowledge, to enjoy being with our friends and colleagues. In the past, I remember the inexperience, excitement and happiness we had when TDA organized its first congress.

Today we are getting ready to host you not with the inexperience but with the same excitment and happiness.

TDA 21st International Dental Congress that we are going to carry out, is the biggest, the most glorious organization in our country in its field with its academic and social program and the exhibition. The rising of the TDA congressess had peaked with 101st FDI Istanbul Congress in 2013 which we have the pride to host.

We are getting ready for a congress in Istanbul that will be remembered again after such successful organizations like FDI and TDA 20th International Dental Congress in Aydýn. In these successes our valuable colleagues' attention and participation definetely has the biggest share.
