26th World Congress on Videourology

Video Urology Congress

Dear Colleagues and Friends, 

On behalf of the Turkish Association of Urology and Local Organising Comittee, it gives us great pleasure and honour to cordially invite you to the 26th World Congress on Videourology. It will be held in conjunction with the 24th National Congress of Turkish Association of Urology in Ýzmir, Turkey, from October 20 to October 24, 2015.  The World Congress on Videourology will be held between 20-22 October 2015, followed by the 2 day National Congress of Turkish Association of Urology. This congress will also be organized in close collaboration with the Endourological Society, Turkish Society of  Endourology and with the contribution of all national groups working on endourology.

With eight thousand years of history, covering more than 30 civilizations, Ýzmir is one of the most important archaeological, historical, religious and cultural sites in the world. The World Congress on Videourology itself has a long history, showing recent advances in the field and enlightening our future. In this context, the theme of our 2015 meeting is:

“History meets the Future”

We promise you a versatile scientific programme as well as an attractive social programme. We would love you all to learn, teach, exchange, share, improve, experience and, not least, enjoy this meeting. Apart from the promising scientic content of the meeting, Izmir’s beauties will make your trip unforgettable: Izmir (ancient Smyrna) has embraced many early civilizations - Amazons, Hittites, Ionians, Phrygians, Persians, Lydians and Macedonians as well as kingdoms. It will be our honour to host representatives of many of today’s worldwide civilizations.

In the scientific programme, we will cover many critical areas, whilst highlighting many practical tips, including BPH, Stones, Pediatric Urology, Female Urology, Andrology, Uro-Oncology, Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgery and Management of Complications. Presenting your work in a video or a poster format will be highly appreciated at this meeting, in accordance with the philosophy of the Videourology Congress, so please remember to submit your work.
