Dear Colleagues,

On the behalf of Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure to invite you to participate in the XIV Annual Mediterranean Society for Reproductive Medicine (MSRM) which will take place in Izmir, Turkey on April 21-24, 2016.

The annual Congress of MSRM is the occasion for an overview of all that is going on in Reproductive Medicine which is a very fast growing field of our profession. More and more physicians and researchers choose to devote their professional lives to the understanding and mastering of human reproduction which is the essential to provide the best options for diagnosis and treatment of the problems and diseases related this very important area of the human life. The Congress will gather a distinguished international faculty of clinicians and scientists in the related disciplines to address and discuss the recent information, controversies and future directions.

The Mediterranean Society for Reproductive Medicine is a scientific society which was established in 2002 working in the field of human reproduction. As expressed in its bylaws, the Society is dedicated to the study of all aspects reproductive medicine including the promotion of science and research in all aspects of reproductive medicine, the understanding of evidence-based practices between clinicians and the enhancement of communication between scientists interested in these subjects from various countries. MSRM is unique in a sense that it blends different cultural groups that inhabit the Mediterranean Region. Clinicians and scientists from different cultural, ethnic and religious backgrounds gather to share information and ideas under the umbrella of science and rekindle friendships.

2016 MSRM Congress will be held under the auspices of the Society of Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, Turkey which is also a fast growing Society sharing the same goals nationally. Congress aims to gather a large national and international audience and will include key note lectures, plenary sessions, round- tables and pre -congress workshops.

Turkey’s Aegean costline city of Izmir will host this event. Izmir, third largest city of Turkey, has an international airport with direct flights to 60 cities around the world. Also, town of Cesme, lying west of Izmir is connected to Greek island of Chios with less than an hour ferry ride.
The region is one of the earliest settlement areas of Anatolia. Town of Selçuk, only an hour from Izmir is home to Ephesus and also to Virgin Mary House and the Church of Saint John. Dating back to the 6th century B.C., Ephesus ancient city housing the Temple of Artemis is one of the seven wonders of the world.

Aegean region, with its rich historical heritage and popular destinations like Cesme and Alacati has been discovered by an ever growing number of local and international groups and tourists while attracting scientific meetings as well.
Cesme area is a combination of rich agricultural land enclosing unspoiled turquoise bays with beaches of fine white sand and natural hot water springs. Famous regional dishes and delicious seafood have always been an important reason to visit the region as well.
With its climate and other characteristics, Izmir region will be perfect to host a Mediterrenean meeting.

We are confidant that the superb program, the colorful and exciting social activities coupled with the relaxing atmosphere of the Çeþme, Izmir will be a rewarding educational, social and travel experience.
