International Conference on eBusiness and eGovernment (ICEBEG)

This major international event will be held in Kampala, Uganda on 20 January 2017. eBusiness may be defined as the application of information and communication technologies (ICTs) in support of all the activities of business. eGovernment refers to the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) to provide public goods and services to citizens. eGovernment involves simplifying and conducting processes relating to information, communications and transactions within and between governmental institutions, the public at large, and companies, by utilizing information and communication technologies (ICTs). "International Conference on eBusiness and eGovernment" (ICEBEG) provides a sphere for scholars and practitioners on all aspects of applying internet and related technologies in private and public sector organisations. The aim of the conference is to bring together an interdisciplinary audience of ICT, information systems, knowledge management, ebusiness, ecommerce, egovernment, egovernance professionals and researchers to address some of the issues and challenges facing the public and private sector today. ICEBEG fosters and promotes the discovery and dissemination of high quality research in the fields noted above.
