We are delighted to welcome you to the Special Conference on Viral Hepatitis jointly organized by the Turkish Association for the Study of the Liver (TASL) and the American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD). It is taking place in Istanbul, Turkey, where West meets East, on March 3-4, 2017. This meeting will focus on extending knowledge in the pathogenesis of virus-induced liver disease and providing a comprehensive update in current management strategies in acute and chronic viral hepatitis, advanced liver disease before and after liver transplantation and hepatocellular carcinoma. We have brought together a series of excellent lectures delivered by a renowned international and national faculty. The program promises world-class educational opportunities for all who are interested in research and practice in viral hepatitis.
Our exciting program consists of 9 sessions spanning over two days. They include:

- Acute viral hepatitis and Hepatitis flares
